On My Way!

It's January 24th, and I am finally on my way to Liverpool! I will be studying at the University for the entirety of the spring semester. I finished packing last night at around 8 pm because I kept adding last-minute clothes. I am writing this post-flight from Columbia and pre-flight to Manchester. Right now the Atlanta airport is incredibly busy with many flights being delayed due to some rain that is happening across the southern states. As I sit here writing this, I am experiencing so many different emotions. I feel afraid because what if something goes wrong on my flight, I feel nervous about meeting all of my potential new friends in Liverpool, I feel sad to leave my family and friends behind in order to gain new experiences, but most of all excited to have been given the opportunity of a lifetime where I will form new connections and learn so much about the world. My younger self could not imagine studying alone in a new country for 4.5 months, but now I cannot imagine not choosing to do this.

Tomorrow morning, or in EST at 3 am, I will be headed on a train to Liverpool to create a new adventure for myself that I have complete control over. There isn't anyone from USC attending Liverpool with me, so I cannot wait to meet people from all over the world. Hopefully, I can create connections with people from Australia, Canada, and even England so that I can create the option of visiting those places after I get back as well!

I am so excited for the adventure to begin, and so happy for the opportunity to get to share it all through USC! Follow along for more!
